In a small town in the rural countryside of El Salvador a group of concerned citizens has formed a scholarship committee. The World Bank reports that less that 20% of poor Salvadoran youths enroll in high school. Over 50% of students not attending high school do not have the money to continue their education.

The goal of the San Pedro Nonualco Scholarship Committee is to assure that no motivated youth is held back from completing their high school education solely because their family can't afford the mere $150 a year in tuition and expenses.
